Unforgettable
Experience
Our shop managers invite award-winning artists to create your tattoo. From fine lines to full sleeves and body art. At Goons & Queens, we strive to make every tattoo appointment a pleasant and unforgettable experience. We are happy to explain our working method to you step by step.
Methodology
1. Consultation
Before scheduling a tattoo appointment, we offer you the opportunity to book a free tattoo consultation. During this no-obligation consultation, we can help you with your design, placement, and inform you about the price and our artists. Of course, you can also book a tattoo appointment without a consultation. Do you want to know the price of your tattoo in advance? Send us a message.
2. Down payment
To confirm your tattoo appointment, we sometimes require a deposit. This amount will later be deducted from the total cost of the tattoo. The deposit is intended to reserve your spot in our schedule and allow us to make any necessary design preparations. You will always receive a deposit receipt.
3. Design Phase
After the consultation, we will start designing your tattoo. This process can take some time, but it is often possible to create the design on the day of your appointment.
4. Preparation
On the day of your tattoo appointment, it's important to be well-prepared. Make sure you are well-rested, have eaten well, and are hydrated. We recommend wearing comfortable clothing that allows easy access to the area being tattooed. Should you have a long session with us, we will ensure you have plenty to drink. For a full-day session, we can also order food for you. Pillows and blankets are also available.
5. Stenciling and Tattooing
Our artists always create a design on their iPad first. Once you approve the design, the artist can digitally place it on your body. The artist takes a photo of your body and digitally places the design on the photo so you can see how the tattoo will look. When you are satisfied, a stencil is made. The stencil is transferred to your body, and once you are 100% satisfied with the placement, the tattooing process begins.
6. The Tattoo Experience
We strive to make you feel as comfortable as possible and will take breaks as needed. We encourage open communication, so if you experience any discomfort or pain, please let us know so we can help.
7. Aftercare Instructions
After applying the tattoo, we will provide you with detailed aftercare instructions to ensure your tattoo heals properly. We will explain how to clean, moisturize, and protect the tattoo to prevent infection and other complications. It is important to follow these instructions for successful healing.
8. Follow-up
Some tattoos require a follow-up. Our staff will inform you if this is the case. We do not offer a guarantee for tattoos on the hands, knees, feet, ears, and elbows. Our staff will also advise you to choose a different location, as tattoos on the aforementioned areas tend to fade/disappear quickly.
Non-binding advice
We strive to bring your vision to life and provide you with a beautiful tattoo that you can wear with pride. Contact us today to schedule a consultation and take the first step towards your new tattoo!
