black & grey

Black & grey is one of our specialties, and we have multiple artists in our network who excel at it. Yet, they all have a very different style.

Almost everything done in black and grey tones falls within this style. This includes (sur)realism, ornamentals, and portraits.

dotwork, geometrics & mandalas

Dots, clean lines and freehand shapes are typical elements of dotwork, geometric tattoos, and mandalas.

Dotwork sometimes consists of thousands of small dots that together form a shape and are often part of a geometric tattoo or mandala. We see many geometrics and mandalas on shoulders, knees, backs of knees, and armpits; due to the curves of the body, they offer an interesting perspective.

fineline

Fineline tattoos have been on the rise in popularity since 2020. The style of fineline tattoos can vary greatly; there is much more possible than people think.

Most people associate fineline with quotes or text, but you actually see everything. Fineline can also be graphic, but what we often see nowadays is micro-realism. Everything is then done with an extremely thin needle. Fineline is more complex than people think, because when you use a single needle, there is almost no room to make a mistake or make adjustments.

Chicano

Chicano style is a combination of different styles mixed into one design. It often combines lettering, realism, and ornamental elements such as mandalas or geometry.

The designs are often inspired by graffiti compositions seen on the streets. Due to the various styles found in Chicano tattoos, it is often larger work or is developed into larger pieces. Think of sleeves or leg sleeves.

micro

realism

Realism is exactly what it is, whether in color or black & grey; these are realistic tattoos that reflect reality. Simply put, these could be portraits, nature, or, for example, animals. These tattoos can be very complex because perspective, soft work without hard lines, and playing with contrast, shadows, and highlights are crucial to achieving that realistic effect.

Nowadays, we see a lot of micro realism with fineline.
